5Best crimps on the market dont buy from anywhere else
By Joe T.
Best crimps on the market dont buy from anywhere else. Home Depot and Lowes are too expensive and crappy these 3M are 100% all the time I have yet to have a failure or bad crimp. I am on my third box at 100 pieces in each that should speak volumes. I use standard pliers Small 2 Channel Locks and just gauge the squeeze myself. It only takes about two or three for to get used to it. These come with the anticorrosive/anti water gel inside. Dont waste your time and money on others. And at this price it is far beyond a better return on your investment. I have used on Telephony, Data (Cat5 Cat6) and video over Cat5 at nearly 3k feet and these held up and work just fine.

5Exactly what I'd expect from a box of Scotchloks!
By Christopher Skinner
There's not much creative to say about Scotchloks, they're very well known in the telecom industry. This was way more Scotchloks than I'll ever need as a home hobbyist, but at the price I can't complain. They work great for splicing together solid-cored wire, like that found in telephone and network cabling.

Note to potential buyers: Scotchloks are NOT designed to be used with stranded wiring, like you would find in a car or small electronics, they work best with solid-cored wiring. There are other great products on the market for splicing stranded wiring, so skip these if that's your application.

5Handy little wire crimps
By John W. Daniels
(Review written by item recipient, not by above account holder name)

Very handy items to have around when you need to connect two wires without dealing with stripping and crimping or soldering. I first learned of these when I saw them bundled with Noctua A-Series Cooling Fan Blades with AAO Frame, SSO2 Bearing (NF-A4x10 FLX) and I knew I had to buy more for other projects. I didn't use any special pliers, in fact my first few worked fine with some needle-nose, though I had to push it down from multiple sides - it still made a good crimp, but I'd use some wider pliars next time, probably something with adjustable height.
