Worked for me.
Totally transformed my 1890s fireplace inset. I used metallic bronze reactive paint over an ultra high heat primer then patina solution in blue and green layers, finally sealed with Renaissance wax. This product is as good as you are creative. Photo posted.

This worked amazingly on light fixtures outside on our house. Used the product as described with the Modern Masters Metal paint and it will work. We experimented with the copper paint on a large mailbox first with various methods including sponging, brushing, spraying. All look fabulous, and so it is just personal choice for the look you want. Well worth the cost.

This product is awesome on raw copper
By Andiamo 1966
This product is awesome on raw copper. If there is any sort of coating (this product alone will bead up and not adhere to the metal) you'll need to use the paint undercoat by the same company. For these fence post caps, I lightly sanded off the clear coating and used two coats of this patina. Beautiful variation in blues and greens. Love it!
