for the price it's not bad.

Very similar to a porter cable. The quality of the sander is not quite as good, but at 1/4 the price, it's worth it. The u joint is not as smooth and the angled pipe from the handle to the head was not perfectly strait. All in all I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend to someone using it for small jobs or their own use. The hose did not fit snug to my rigid vac but right enough to stay in place and provide suction. Comes with spare brushes for the motor. Used it to sand one 600 SF job so far.

Good unit but not exactly what expected

I've done a bit too much drywall sanding in my 48 years so was looking for something easier. Well, hard to say it's much easier as it gets heavy fast. It does however do a nice job sanding and most certainly the ceiling I just sanded will be much smoother (won't see seams) than with hand/pole sanding. It would make sense if they had a spot on it which is like a floor sander where can get right to the edges as you do have to go around and hand sand all the corners. The quality seems to be good and I do recommend it as long as really know what getting into. If you don't have good upper body strength then may be an issue or just invite over your big burly friends for a sanding party! One way to reduce sanding time and thus save your shoulders is work the sand paper grits but be careful with heavier grits. I started with 120 and then went straight to 240 and did a few passes with 240. I can't imagine using 80 as it would oversand it very quickly and leave deep scratches and I use only bag mud which is a bit harder.
