THIS IS NOT 5 QUARTS. ALSO NOTE COMMENTS...
By Amazon Customer
This measures 9" across (instead of 11-12") and is probably about 3 quarts, NOT 5. It is small. The quality seems good, but I was needing a 5 quart. If you read the comments, you will note that 99% (if not 100%) of them are written by people who were somehow discounted/paid for their review. I was NOT.

Good quality, inexpensive colander
By Marion C. Raines
This is a good quality medium duty steel colander. It is perfect for draining a full pound of pasta or similar amount of whatever you need to drain. The price was very good and when one of my children permanently "borrow" it, I'll certainly purchase another one.
